It appears that lists on Layout or overview drawings are not supported by Advance ? What is the reason for this?

Are there any suitable workaround methods ?

Hello Werner,

Create your BOM with Advance Steel and then save it as an "XLS" file.

Open your General Arrangement drawing, then Insert > Data > OLE Object and select the XLS file to be inserted within your drawing.

Hello Werner,

You can also do the following:

- open the *.xls file of the BOM (created with Advance Steel), and make a Ctrl - C

- open the GA drawing (= overview drawing), and make a Ctrl - V

- if the inserted BOM is too small (looks like a small black rectangle), you can type SCALE and change the scale of the inserted BOM

Philippe
