Weld lengths not required on drawings

In AS2016 when I create a weld manually the weld length is always added to the weld symbol on the Assembly drawing (see weld png) when modelling the weld the length is shown in the weld length dialog box but "greyed out" (see weld1 png). Can you tell me how I can prevent these weld lengths appearing on the drawingsthanksDave

Hi,It seems you must be using Line of Weld instead of Weld Point. The whole difference between the two functions is that Line of Weld knows the length defined. If you don’t want a length use Weld Point instead. There is no difference in effectiveness. Line of Weld actually takes more clicks to define.
