Does any one know how to apply a bevel cut all around on a pipe column & wants to share with me?

Thanks in advance,
Greg Daneshvar

Hello Greg,

There is no automatic tool, but you can use the following workarounds:

- for square & rectanguler tubes: create a "Polygonal contour" on one of the beam edge ; then use the Advance Steel copy command to copy this contour (= cut)  e.g. by mirror on the other edges of your beam (see attached picture)

- for round tubes (pipes) : create a "Polygonal contour" on one of the beam edge ; then use the "Advanced copy" command to copy this contour (= cut) with a "Polar array" all around your circular tube.

Regards

Philippe
