Is there possibility to change column headers in revision table?

Hello Milos,

Those names are prompts, and can be modified directly in a database used by Advance Steel.

Please open the database named "AstCrtlDb.mdb" (situated in :\ProgramData\Graitec\AdvanceSteel\2011\Steel\Data ).

Then go to the "ErrorMessages" table inside this database.

The 5 prompts which are used in the revision table have the following Error Number (value which you can see on the 3rd column in the ErrorMessages table) : 31404, 31405, 31406, 31407, 31408.

Change the translation according to your wishes by replacing the value in the column "ErrorText".

Close the database, and then close and restart Advance Steel to get the changes available.

For info, you need to recreate the revision table if you want to see the changed names. An existing revision table will not be updated to reflect the changes, you need to delete it and re-insert a new one using the Revision table function.

Best regards

Philippe

Hello Philippe,

thank you for your quick answer.

I forgot to ask, if any possibility to add one more column in revision table (data base)?

Thank in advance.

Best regards,

Milos

Hello Milos,

It is currently not possible to add a new column in the Advance Steel revision table.

A possible workaround is to add an AutoCAD rectangle with your text inside, next to the Advance Steel revision table.

Regards

Philippe
