If the software will not install correctly from the DVD please install as follows;
Go to the ‘Install’ directory of the DVD and install each component individually – CAD 1st (AdvanceCADEnglish64.msi), AS 2nd (AdvanceSteelUK64.msi), GAM 3rd (GAM86.msi) and finally BIM (GraitecBIMConnectx64.msi) Note – the above refers to 64bit install, for 32bit install use the files ending 86.msi for 32bit versions
Some users have reported that the Advance Steel ribbon menus are missing when running Advance Steel for the first time. The solution is to run a reset on the AutoCAD cui, by running AutoCAD alone, and then use the command "cui" followed by "Reset ACAD.cuix" option from the right click menu on the acad.cuix tree. Also run a workspace reset, before starting Advance Steel.
