How do you determine which is End 1 and which is End 2 of an element?

How do you determine which is End 1 and which is End 2 of an element? Example, when releasing moments from one end of the element, I don't find indication of which end was released to verify if I released the correct end.

End 1 is the first point you clicked and End 2 is the second, if you display the linear axis of a member in the display options is the direction of the X (red) axis.
