Issue
I am having an issue with one shop drawing and getting it to clip properly. I have done a bunch of drawings just prior to this one and they have all worked out correctly. My top view is clipping differently than the main view. I have unchecked "Automatic clipping". Both views have the same values and parameters yet my top view is clipping and showing the overall length shorter than the main view.
Solution
The drawing style for the beam was a custom one and did not include a top view.
It appears when you try to manually create a top view in the shop drawing for a beam that has studs welded to the top then the clipping does not work properly.
Take the drawing style and copy it and create a new drawing style that included a top view. With the new drawing style everything appears to work properly.
