Management of reinforcement bar marks has been improved with new functionalities which lead to better administration. If, in a project, reinforcement bars were already ordered, but changes need to be done on other bars, the ordered ones can be set to keep their marks (marks can be set to – "Frozen"). The bars which have their marks changed can be set to be "Thawed".
By default, after a reinforcement bar is created, its mark is "Thawed"; the status of any reinforcement bar can be checked on the Smartbar near the "Help" icon.
When renumbering, the mark of an unfrozen bar is changed depending on the desired options set in the Renumbering dialog box, which can be accessed from the "Reinforcement" ribbon, on the "Numbering" panel.
Bar marks can be locked and unlocked by using the "Freeze rebar/Thaw rebar" option, found on the Smartbar or on the "Reinforcement" ribbon, on the "Numbering" panel.
Bar marks are auto-locked (frozen) if they are manually edited (modified).
For large projects, where a lot of reinforcement bars are used (frozen or thawed), for a better management, two additional options can be used: "Highlight frozen/Highlight thawed". The color of the frozen/thawed bars can be changed by editing the options in user preferences, on the "Display" tab.
Reinforcement bars both locked and unlocked can be easily selected by using the quick select options on the "Reinforcement" ribbon, on the "Numbering" panel.
