In the Advance Concrete program, there are two methods of creating the cantilever walls. One of the methods is to create a beam section having the geometry and the dimensions of the cantilever wall.
In order to create the new beam section we must use the cantilever wall's contour created with the AutoCAD® command polyline, and the Description of the model geometry option, which can be found on Advance Project Settings toolbar.
From the Description of defined geometry dialog box we should choose to add an new beam section.
To add a new section we must use the option Create a new section from Any tab.
In order to create the cantilever wall we must use the Create a beam in the current level option from the Advance Model toolbar and choose the new section created.
The second method to create a cantilever wall is to convert an ACIS solid into a structural element, in this case a wall.
The ACIS solid can be converted into a structural element by using the Convert 3D ACIS solid to structural option from the Advance Model toolbar.
After using the Convert 3D ACIS solid to structural function, select the new created entity, and, from the pop-up menu, pick the Structural element type
Now, after the cantilever wall was created, we can use it to generate reinforcement drawings, sections, elevations, isometric views, etc.
